Welcome to our blog!!
We are beyond excited to start this journey around the globe and today we decided to try a test run with our packs. We got almost everything into them and it's a bit of a shock with all the extra weight on our shoulders. There will be a bit of trimming and re-prioritizing of what we need and don't need since my pack is 5 pounds over weight for carry-on restrictions! It's quite the learning process but practice makes perfect.
Our first leg of the journey we'll be flying into London and taking a bus/train to St Jean Pied de Port, France to begin the famed Camino de Santiago; A 500 mile pilgrimage through Spain to Santiago de Compostela that dates back to 812 AD! After the Camino, well... not knowing is part of the adventure.
